Welcome to my experiment in Going Deeper on various topics that come to mind for me during my sermon preparations.

As I'm inspired, I'll put together some thoughts and/or other resources that may inspire you to go deeper in wrestling with God through the biblical message. I don't do this as one who has arrived at the answers but as a fellow student with you of God's Word. May our attitude be that of Jacob who long ago in his own wrestling match with God humbly and resolutely declared, "I will not let you go until you bless me."

You'll find a growing list of theological topics to the left (and here's a forum for your questions and insights on these topics so that this doesn't have to be a one-way conversation). Let's grow in Christ together. I make no promise to tend to this page daily or even weekly but will do my best not to leave it unattended for long.
