+LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS  Starting next week, for the following   5 Wednesdays, from 5:30-6:15 pm, come for our Lenten soup supper. This will be followed by a half-hour Lenten worship by Pastor Terry Cathcart and Dr. Rob Engelhart, NMU Professor of Music, focusing on the theme, Walking in the Way of the Cross.  Plan to come for worship.  Everyone is welcome.  We will need volunteers to make soup, bars, bread, for our soup suppers.  There will be a sign-up sheet outside the Fellowship Hall.  Please sign up for 1 or more dates.  Everyone’s soup has always been very delicious.  Any monies donated goes for Immanuel’s Youth.  Thank you in advance for your donations of any kind.

+LENTEN MEN’S BIBLE STUDY—BREAKFAST  During Lent, every Saturday morning at 8:30 am, in the Fellowship Hall, men of all ages are invited to join others for breakfast and Bible Study.  This began yesterday and continues on the following Saturdays:  February 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.  Start the day with good food for the stomach and the mind, and a relaxed faith conversation.  See you in the Fellowship Hall!  Note, these breakfasts will be followed by our Easter breakfast on Sunday, April 1st, at 7:30 am—11:00 am.  We will need donations of food and/or monies to help cover the cost of the breakfast.  See Virginia Paulson or call her at 475-9641, and tell her what you will be donating. (eggs, coffee-breads, juice, milk, etc.)

+VBS (VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL) IS IN NEED OF A LEADER  If you have any interest in helping with this summer/fall activity, please contact the office (475-9161) or see Stacy McEachern or Sherry Ulvila. It is a great learning experience for ages 5 and up.  And, it’s free for your children.

+STILL IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS FOR GREETERS, USHERS, COMMUNION ASSISTANTS  If you are willing to be assigned this task only 2 times a month for only 1 hour at a time (and certainly NOT every month), please call the office with your name and phone number.  Your help is always needed and appreciated.
